Chris has worked within the security field for over 40 years, spanning the Royal Air Force Police, Home Office, and the commercial realm. At the Home Office he managed an International vessel-stopping project; whilst in the Royal Air Force Police his time there resulted in a Meritorious Commendation in The Queen’s Birthday Honours 2007.

Chris has served as a Grade 7 Civil Servant at The United Kingdom Hydrographic Office, as Head of Business Resilience. He entered the corporate security world as Head of Security at The London Clinic and now has a security consultancy business.

Chris has worked in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Norway, USA and India in various security roles. In May 2011, he was the first of 10 to be granted Chartered Security Professional; he is also a Fellow of the Security Institute, and was the first of five in the UK to graduate with a BSc (Hons) in Risk and Security Management, Portsmouth University.
