Grahame served for over 30 years in the UK Police service in a number of Forces, primarily in the field of major crime investigation, crisis management and hostage negotiation. He is an accredited Senior Investigating Officer and has been successfully involved in numerous high profile investigations. Grahame achieved Chief Officer rank and retired as Deputy Chief Constable. He held several national responsibilities and worked closely with the Home Office on a number of initiatives.
On retirement, Grahame worked at senior corporate level as Head of Security for a major International Oil and Gas company, demanding global travel and included compliance and investigation responsibilities. During that time, he chaired the International Oil Companies Security Committee and was Vice Chair of the North Sea security committee where he worked closely with the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure and The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office. He is now the owner and managing director of his own consultancy.
Grahame holds a Masters degree in Criminology and a Bachelors degree in Economic and Social History. He is both a Fellow of the Security Institute and a Chartered Security Professional.
